Subway Romania enters e-commerce market with home delivery service
Fast-food chain Subway Romania will launch a free mobile app for iOS and Android which will allow customers to order and have products delivered. In a first stage the app will be available in four locations in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara, and it should be expanded to three other restaurants by end-2014, reports local Wall-street.ro.
Romanians will also be able to place orders on Subway’s official website www.subwayro.com. The delivery tax is RON 5 for orders under RON 50, RON 2 for orders under RON 100 and free of charge for orders above RON 100.
The first local Subway restaurant was opened under franchise in 2012 in Bucharest.
