Swarm of Romanian CEOs gathers for Business Leaders Summit in Bucharest
About 150 high ranking representatives from some of the most important companies in Romania meet today ( February 2 ) and tomorrow at the Romanian Business Leaders Summit organized in Bucharest, a forum on Romania’s society and business environment.
During the two-day event, the participants will work in teams to identify 12 specific projects in six areas, namely education, good governance and the modern state, entrepreneurial culture, local capital, community coagulation, and country strategy.
According to an IMAS study presented during the first day of summit, about 80 percent of Romanians didn’t want to start a business in the last 5 years, while almost 50 percent of those who already own a business say that the bureaucracy of the local government was the biggest problem they had to face.
Over 55 percent of Romanians say they don’t own a business because of the lack of starting capital, while the economic crisis was the reason presented by 23 percent of the respondents, shows the IMAS study.
