Swedish group Rosti buys plastics factory in Romania
Swedish group Rosti bought the plastic producer Bianor, which opened a plant in Ploiesti in 2013.
Bianor was founded in 1997, following a Dutch-Polish partnership. It opened its first factory in the North-East of Warsaw, followed by the second plant opened in Ploiesti. The two plants have a combined surface of 20,000 sqm and 12,000 sqm of additional deposits.
The Ploiesti factory posted a turnover of EUR 2 million and losses of EUR 0.5 million last year. It had 17 employees, whereas the Bianor group has 300 employees and annual sales of EUR 15 million.
The Swedish group Rosti, which has annual sales of EUR 400 million, is owned by Swedish investment fund Nordstjernan.
