Swiss software provider hires 100 people in Bucharest

Veeam Software, a provider of software for archiving and recovery, will employ 100 people in its center of Bucharest by the end of the year, said Andrei Romanescu, the company’s CEO.

The company, which has its main headquarters in Switzerland, has been active in the local market since November 2015.

It currently has 120 employees in the local market. The software provider wants to reach at least 250 people in Romania in the next three years, said Romanescu, reports local Wall-street.ro.

The investment in the Bucharest center amounted to about EUR 1 million.

At global level, the company posted a turnover of EUR 500 million.
