Starting this spring, Ionuț Adrian Tănăsoaica is the CEO of Electromontaj, a company that designs, builds, transforms and maintains the infrastructure for electricity distribution.

Previously, Tănăsoaica has been the company's deputy GM. His appointment "completes the company rebranding from 2021, supporting the direction of development and expansion."

He takes over from Dumitru Corduneanu, who ends his mandate by retiring from activity.

Tănăsoaica joined the Group in 2020 as Chief Financial Officer and soon became deputy GM. He had an important contribution to the company's record turnover in 2021 - EUR 70 million - by delivering turnkey projects to Electromontaj's strategic customers, the company said. Prior to joining the company, he held several key positions in consulting and telecommunications companies.

Romania-based Electromontaj was founded in 1949. It designs, builds, transforms and maintains the infrastructure for the intelligent distribution of electricity. It is a company with 100% local private capital. The Electromontaj Group also includes the companies Emfor and Iproeb.

The internal production activity is organized in work points spread all over the country and in its own production units in Bucharest (galvanized pole factory) and in Câmpina (clamps and fittings factory), and a test station for power poles, one of the largest in the world.

Electromontaj Group has over 1,500 employees. The company runs projects in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and is working on a "comprehensive strategy to support the global transition to a sustainable, electricity-based future."

"I want to use our most important asset, the ability to mix the unique experience of over 70 years in construction-assembly in the energy field, with the innovation of the present, to support an electric future. Also, among my objectives as CEO are the expansion of the Electromontaj business, the digitalization of the company and the development of investments in the area of production and international projects," Tănăsoaica said.
