The freezing rain in Bucharest triggered airline Tarom to cancel all its flights, according to Romanian media. In total, 47 domestic and external flights have been canceled, according to Realitatea TV, which didn't mention the period during which the flights will be canceled. Passengers have been asked to call Tarom for more details on 021.9361, 021.204.64.64; 021.303.44.00 and 021.303.44.44.

Bucharest has witnessed a rare meteorological phenomenon on Wednesday, December 1st – freezing rain, which has caused delays on 30 flights on Henri Coanda airport. Tarom initially saw delays on 19 flights on Wednesday and canceled nine other flights- Bucharest to Oradea, Satu Mare, Iasi, Cluj – Napoca, Sibiu, Athens, Zurich, Istanbul and return.
