Two advertising agencies in Romania, TBWA Bucharest and Friends Advertising, have recently merged. The new agency will be called Friends TBWA/Bucharest. The independent agency Friends Advertising will affiliate to TBWA Worldwide, allowing the newly created firm to serve TBWA’s local and international clients.

The new company will be run by the existing Friends Advertising management team, with Doris Danner, the current managing director of TBWA Bucharest continuing to offer support during the transition period.

Friends Advertising was created in 2003, by a team led by Sorin Tranca and Bojan Spasič. TBWA Worldwide is among the top 10 advertising agencies in the world.
