The first edition of tech festival Techsylvania will be held from May 31 to June 2 in Cluj-Napoca, a city which is quickly gaining a reputation of being one of the most dynamic IT ecosystems in Europe.

Organizers say they’ve invited central and eastern foremost creative minds, technologists and innovators.

“Techsylvania will be the place where inspiration, ideas and knowledge is shared directly between individuals, leading to new projects and collaborations,” according to executive producers Vlad Ciurca and Oana Petrus.

The first two days (May 31st and June 1st) of the event will be a hackathon, focused on wearable and connected technologies, where teams of talented people come together to hack a solution on some of the most interesting devices out there

The third day (June 2nd) will be the main event day consisting in a conference with leading innovators, entrepreneurs and professionals.

The top 3 teams coming out of the Hackathon will also have the chance to present their projects in front of the entire audience of Techsylvania.
