Telekom names new Chief Technology and Information Officer for Romania
Telekom Romania has appointed a new Chief Technology and Information Officer. Timos Tsokanis, who had an interim period of three months on the same position, is the new CTIO.
Tsokanis has 20 years of experience in the telecom sector, both in technology and in commercial organizations. He has been working with the Telekom group for over six years, during which he dealt with the transformation and modernization of network and IT operations and systems consolidation in two countries.
Tsokanis will lead one of the most extended teams within Telekom Romania. One of their key objectives is to increase the efficiency of network modernization activities.
Prior to working with Telekom, Tsokanis was with Vivacom, Cosmo Bulgaria Mobile, Tellas and Verizon, among others. His full CV on LinkedIn is here.
