Temperatures drop in Romania, frosty weather in the weekend
Those planning to go outside this week will have to remember to take their hats and scarves because the weather will get really cold in Romania, according to meteorologists.
At the end of the week, the nighttime temperatures are expected to go down to around -25 degrees Celsius in some parts of Transylvania, but it will also get extremely cold in the north part of the country, Moldova and Dobrogea regions, and the mountain areas. By Sunday, the cold weather will cover the entire country.
In Bucharest, the minimum temperature will go down to -9 degrees Celsius on Thursday, and -14 degrees Celsius on Friday, the day when snow will also reach the capital. The daytime temperatures will stay negative as well. The weather will get even colder over the weekend, with daytime temperatures of -11 degrees and nighttime values of -19.
