The Guardian: Romania, among destinations avoided by British tourists
Romania is one of the countries British travelers are avoiding this summer, along with Greece, Iceland, Turkey and Russia, writes an article in The Guardian. “Many British people are holidaying at home this summer amid fears over tour operator problems, flight upsets and the eurozone's debt crisis,” writes the article, which quotes a study by CSMA Club.
British have opted for has been termed a 'staycation'. One third of them have chosen to stay home this year.
