English bands Suede and The XX (in picture) will headline this year’s edition of Summer Well Festival in Romania, on August 10 and 11 on the Stirbey Domain in Buftea, near Bucharest.

The XX are an English indie pop band formed in 2005. Their debut album XX was released four years later and ranked highly on many best of 2009 lists. Their second album Coexist was released in September last year. The band will perform in Romania on August 10. More about the band on their official website here.

Suede are an alternative rock band from London, formed in 1989. The band’s current members are Brett Anderson, Neil Codling, Simon Gilbert, Richard Oakes and Mat Osman. Their sixth album Bloodsports was released in March this year. The band’s gig in Romania will be held on August 11, 2013. Find out more about Suede here.

This year’s Summer Well line-up also includes English indie rock bands The Vaccines, The Courteeners and The 1975, English electronic duo AlunaGeorge, British singer Eugene McGuinness, alternative rock-pop band Everything Everything, London’s indie rock band Spector and indie rock band The Family Rain.

Two-day subscriptions for the festival cost RON 129 until June 15, RON 149 between June 16 and August 9 and RON 169 at the entry. Tickets can be purchased from Orange shops, or online from easytickets.ro and eventim.ro. More about Summer Well Festival here.
