Thieves use explosives to steal ATM from Romanian bank but their plan fails
Two thieves tried to steal an ATM from a bank unit in the town of Bolintin Vale, in Giurgiu county, using explosives, local Adevarul reported. However, the attempted robbery failed.
The incident occurred on the night of Monday to Tuesday. The two used some kind of explosive substances in their attempt to steal the ATM but this caused an explosion that blew up the bank’s windows. The thieves ran away without any money.
The policemen are now trying to identify and arrest the two, who face charges of attempted robbery.
