A third of small and medium companies in Romania don’t have websites
About 69% of the small and medium-sized enterprises in Romania own a website whereas almost a third have no online identity, according to a survey concluded by the Romanian company Smart Bill and the online marketing agency Canopy.
The study also shows that 63% of the companies that don’t have a website consider that it’s not necessary to be online because their businesses are still in their infancy, don’t have the necessary internal resources or don’t see its relevance for the company’s profile, reports local Profit.ro.
About 18% of the companies said that the lack of time is the main reason for them not being online, and 5.4% of them answered that they didn’t know how to start such a project, according to the survey.
The companies that are online mainly use social media, SEO, email marketing, and Pay Per Click (PPC) for advertising.
The survey was carried out in December on 1,000 SMEs.
