Three banks to implement online payments for Romania's tax agency
Romania’s National Fiscal Administration Agency (ANAF) has attributed to three local banks the contract for card and online tax payment services.
This should allow taxpayers to pay their taxes and fees by card or online.
The three banks are Banca Transilvania, BCR, and Garanti Bank, reports local Agerpres. The value of the contract amounts to RON 1.87 million (EUR 414,500), without VAT.
The contract was attributed via an open tender, and the attribution criterion was the lowest price. The contract was awarded on November 6.
At the beginning of October, ANAF president Dragos Doros said that the institution wanted to complete the procedure for allowing online payments by the end of this year.
