Twelve in race for Romania's Transylvania International Film festival trophy
The Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF) Official Competition will see 12 international films competing for the Transylvania Trophy in Romania. The festival will be organized between May 29 and June 7 in Cluj-Napoca, central Romania.
The films come from Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Iceland, Great Britain, Mexico, Spain and the US. Their stories are based on emotion and extreme tension.
The festival’s program includes Grímur Hákonarson’s Rams, which comes to TIFF directly from Cannes’ Un Certain Regard, Radiator directed by Tom Browns, Summer Nights directed by Mario Fanfani, Paris of the North directed by Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurðsson, Gabriel Ripstein’s 600 miles and Bernard Bellefroid’s Melody.
Founded in 2002, TIFF is the first international feature film festival in Romania. The 14th edition will be organized in Cluj-Napoca between May 29 and June 7. Find out more about the festival on its web page here.
