Kiss FM continued to be the most listened radio station in Romania in the autumn of 2015, according to the Radio Audience Survey conducted by IMAS and GfK Romania between August 31 and December 20 last year.

At a national level, for the audience aged over 11, Kiss FM ranked first last autumn with more than 2.1 million listeners per day and a market share of 8%. Radio Romania Actualitati came second with 1.99 million listeners and a market share of 14.3%, followed by Radio Zu with 1.75 million listeners, reports local Mediafax.

The top 10 continues with Europa FM – 1.5 million listeners, ProFM – 1.45 million, Magic FM – over 772,000, Radio Antena Satelor – 701,200, Radio 21 – over 568,000, Radio Romania Oltenia Craiova – some 418,000, and Radio Romania Iasi – 401,800.

Kiss FM also registered the highest number of urban listeners – 1.33 million, followed by Radio Romania Actualitati – 1.24 million, Radio Zu – 1.16 million, Europa FM – 1.05 million, and ProFM – 894,700.

However, the ranking changes in Bucharest where Radio ZU was the most listened radio station last autumn, with 242,800 listeners per day. Radio Romania Actualitati ranked second with 215,200 listeners, followed by Kiss FM – 186,800, Magic FM – 162,900, Europa FM – 153,900, Pro FM – 121,000, Rock FM – 98,000, Romantic FM – 87,000, Radio 21 – 84,800, and Gold FM – 54,300.

The study was conducted on a sample of more than 9,400 people.
