Tourist Information Office opened in Universitate passage, touch screens in Romanian only

15 July 2010

The touch screens installed by the Bucharest City Hall in the Universitate passage, which have recently become functional, are displaying information in Romanian only. Out of the four screens, only three are currently working.

The Tourist Information Office has also been opened, but for the moment it only offers basic information about Romania through brochures. It has city maps on sale and a team of people offering information to those interested based on request.

The interactive system offers information about urban transportation, the map of all RATB (Romanian Transport Company) routes, tourist tracks and tours in Bucharest, tourist objectives. An events feature was also added, but the system is yet to display information about events in the city.
