Romania's Highways Company - CNADNR will resume the revamping work on the bridge in Predeal mountain resort, located on DN1, the country's busiest tourist route. DN1 connects the capital Bucharest to Brasov, in central Romania, and to the resorts in the Prahova Valley and around Brasov.

The work on the bridge is to be completed in two months, and the traffic in the area will be restricted until then. The traffic restrictions apply during the weekdays, from Monday at 6:00 until Friday at 12:00, according to CNADNR.

Also, during the October 3-4 and October 10-11 weekends, only one lane will be open for traffic on this section.

Between Fridays, 12:00, and Mondays, 06:00, and during legal holidays, the traffic will take place under normal conditions, according to CNADNR.

Other important roads where the traffic is restricted in this period are the road that connects Oltenia to Transylvania, through the Jiului Valley, and the bridge at Giurgiu between Romania and Bulgaria.
