The traditions and food festival Transilvania Fest will take place in Alba county this year, on the Blaj plane, between July 29 and 31, the festival organizers have announced. This seventh edition of the festival will be organized in partnership with the Blaj municipality and Slow Food Cluj Transilvania.

The 2010 edition took place in Biertan, in Sibiu county and featured local craftsmen, cooks from Transylvania and from the UK who prepared traditional food. The aim of the festival is to promote Romanian traditions and local food.
