Transylvania International Film Festival kicks off in Cluj-Napoca
Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF), the biggest movie festival in Romania, starts in Cluj-Napoca on Friday, May 29.
More than 220 movies from over 60 countries will be screened in this year’s TIFF, which has reached its 14 edition. About 850 Romanian and foreign guests are expected to attend the festival.
Wild Tales/ Relatos Salvajes, one of the movies nominated at the Oscars for Best Foreign Language Film, will open the festival. It will be screened in Piața Unirii Open Air, after the opening gala.
The festival ends on June 7.
