Turkish firm to build EUR 90 mln Bacau bypass in Romania
Romania's National Company for Highways (CNADNR) has signed the contract to build the Bacau bypass.
Turkish company Eko Insaat Ve Tic won the contract worth EUR 89.54 million (without VAT), through a public tender, reports local Mediafax.
CNADNR will finance the project with non-reimbursable EU funds (85%) and from the state budget (15%).
The contract extends over 48 months, 24 months of which represent the work execution and 24 months are the guarantee period. The section will have 30.7 km.
