Two E.ON companies merge in Romania
Two companies in the E.ON group, E.ON Gaz Distributie and E.ON Moldova Distributie, which run gas distribution in the Transylvania region, and Moldova, respectively, will merge. The new company will be called E.ON Gaz Distributie.
After the merger, the new company will be controlled by E.ON Romania – 61.8 percent of the shares, Romania’s Economy Ministry – 13.5 percent, Electrica SA – 6.34 percent, and Fondul Proprietatea, 18.3 percent.
