UniCredit Bank ups factoring operations by almost a third in Romania
Local lender UniCredit Bank increased its factoring operations by 31.6% last year to some EUR 886 million.
The metals, chemicals, water and recycling segment had a share of 23%, whereas the motor vehicles and equipment segment had a share of 11.5% in the total. The agriculture, fishing and food segment accounted for 10%, and the consumer goods segment had a share of 7%.
Companies with revenues of up to EUR 5 million contributed by 30% to the total volume of factoring carried out by UniCredit Bank. The companies with revenues between EUR 5 million and EUR 50 million had a share of over 45%.
