Over 70% of urban Romanians plan to shop on Black Friday
Over 70% of the Romanians living in urban areas plan to make purchases on Black Friday, and almost half of them intend to pay online, according to a survey concluded by iVox for local ecommerce platforms developer Blugento.
About 43% of the respondents haven’t yet made a list of the products they wish to purchase during the Black Friday event, but will make up their minds after seeing the stores’ offers.
Almost a third (29%) of Romanians have a Black Friday budget ranging between RON 200 (EUR 43) and RON 500 (EUR 107.5) whereas 25% have budgets of RON 500-1,000 (EUR 107.5-215). Only 9% have budgets of RON 1,500-3,000 (EUR 322.7- 645.4).
Some 87% of those surveyed said that they’ve never had to return the products purchased on Black Friday.
The Black Friday will take place on November 17 this year in Romania, one week before the official Black Friday in the US.
