Representatives of the US military group General Dynamics met with Sorin Encutescu, state secretary in the Economy Ministry, responsible for Romania’s defense industry, to talk about equipping Romania’s National Defense System.

The two parts talked about developing the industrial cooperation within the defense industry, as well as finding projects and programs that are of common interest.

General Dynamics is the world’s fifth largest military contractor based on revenues. In 2014, the company posted a turnover of USD 31 billion. It has 100,000 employees worldwide.
