Video game developer plans to reach 1,500 employees in Romania

French video game developer Ubisoft wants to hire 300 people in Romania this year. Its local team will thus pass 1,500 employees.

Ubisoft is looking for game designers, programmers and level designers for its production department, as well as for developers for the IT department, reports local economica.net.

The company has introduced a new benefit for the employees, namely the private pension. The company contributes a fixed amount per month, additional to the pension in the public system.

Ubisoft reached a EUR 30 million turnover and a EUR 1.2 million net profit in Romania last year. It had over 1,300 employees, according to public data from the Finance Ministry.
