Viennese Christmas with violinist Edvin Marton in December in Romania

Ukrainian composer and violinist Edvin Marton will perform together with the European Royal Orchestra at Sala Palatului in Bucharest, on December 21 and December 22 this year. Their performances will be part of the Viennese Christmas Gala event, where over 100 artists such as Alexandru Tomescu, Thomas Herberich, Diana Tugui and Carmen Laverde will also bring special sounds on the stage.

Edvin Marton was born in 1974 in Ukraine. He held his first important concert at the age of twelve, with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, and since 1993 he has been young soloist for Hungary’s National Philharmonic Concert Agency.

In 2006 he received an Emmy award in the US for Best Composition, for the song "Romeo and Juliet" performed for over 300 million television viewers as part of the 2006 Torino Olympic Winter Games, while in 2008 he won the European Song Contest as featured and co-writer of Dima Bilan's winning song "Believe".
