Vodafone Shared Services (VSS) Romania wants to reach over 1,000 employees by the end of the year.

The company, which started its activity in July 2014, currently has 800 employees. Some of them will be moved to the new headquarters located in the City Offices project in Bucharest. The total surface of the new VSS office covers 4,300 sqm.

VSS Romania is in charge of managing and developing apps for the Vodafone group. It also provides cloud and hosting or service-desk services.

It is responsible for the Vodafone operations in UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, Hungary, and the Netherlands.

Greek investor Ioannis Papalekas has developed the City Offices project on the plot of the former City Mall.
