Weekend Sessions: Bucharest’s Botanical Garden hosts concerts, film screenings, workshops & more

A new edition of Weekend Sessions, a mix of events held at the Botanical Garden of the University of Bucharest, kicks off this Saturday, May 7.

The event is organized only on weekends, bringing together over 150 independent artists and local entrepreneurs. The program will include acoustic sessions of classical, jazz, alternative and indie music, as well as poetry moments, film screenings, workshops and other activities dedicated to children and adults, according to News.ro.

On the first weekend of the 2022 edition (May 7-8), from 16:00 to 21:00, the audience will enjoy acoustic rock surfing sessions with The Undercurrents, jazz with the Bucharest Sax Quartet - BSQ, and classical music with Light Quintet. The program will be completed by poetry, dance, movies and workshops.

Seats are limited, and tickets cost RON 60 if purchased online and RON 70 at the door.
