Who are the new members in AmCham Romania’s board of directors?

AmCham Romania, one of the biggest local business associations, has a new board of directors following general elections on March 30.

Ionut Simion, Country Managing Partner of PwC Romania, is the new president of AmCham’s board. Ionut Simion has been leading PwC's business in Romania since April 2015.

Kostas Loukas, the General Manager of Microsoft Romania, and Radu Florescu, CEO of advertising group Centrade, have been elected as vice-presidents. Madeline Alexander, Audit Partner & EU Account Leader at Deloitte Romania, is the new AmCham treasurer.

The other members are: Catalin Velescu, General Manager of 3M Romania, Cristian Colteanu, President& CEO GE International for Romania, Bulgaria & Moldova, Cristian Agalopol, Vicepresident, DCC Head Romania & Bulgaria at Citibank, Jaak Mikkel, General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Romania, Anda Todor, Managing Partner Dentons, Bogdan Ion, Country Managing Partner EY Romania, and Dan Bulucea, Country Director at Google.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (AmCham Romania) is one of the biggest business and advocacy association in Romania, with over 400 members. It represents American, international, and local companies, and facilitates the dialogue between the business community and the central authorities.

AmCham Romania is also a member of the Coalition for Romania’s Development alongside other business organizations, such as the Foreign Investors Council, the Romanian Businessmen Association, and Romanian Business Leaders.
