Wholesale trade increases by 1.1% in Romania
The wholesale trade (except for the auto wholesale) turnover in Romania increased in January by 1.1% year-on-year as gross series and 1.5% as adjusted series.
Machinery, equipment and supplies wholesale trade rose by 9% as gross series and by 12.1% as adjusted series, according to the National Institute of Statistics.
Non-specialized wholesale trade went up by 8.9% as gross series and by 11% as adjusted series.
The raw agricultural products and live animals wholesale trade rose by 8.4%, respectively 2.5%, whereas brokering activities in wholesale increased by 3% as gross series and by 3.9% as adjusted series.
The food, beverages, and tobacco wholesale went up by 1.1% as gross series and by 1.8% as adjusted series.
