Wholesale trade increases by 4.1% in Romania in 2015
The wholesale trade turnover, except the trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles, rose by 4.1% last year compared to 2014.
The growth was due to the 17.4% advance in the IT and telecom equipment trade as well as the 13.5% increase in the non-specialized trade.
The wholesale trade with raw agricultural materials and livestock also went up by 12.1% last year. The trade with food, beverages and tobacco went up by 6.5%, according to the National Statistics Institute (INS).
In December last year, the wholesale trade turnover increased by 11.7% compared to December 2014. The evolution was determined by the sales of IT & telecom equipment, which increased by 31.3%.
