Economic recovery in Romania leads to higher demand for software upgrades
The first quarter of the year came with a new trend on the software and services market, as companies want to take advantage of the country’s economic recovery.
Over 100 companies in Romania wanted to upgrade the solutions they use, four times more than in the same period in 2014, according to Wizrom Software. They wanted upgrades for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), logistics and storage (WMS), transportation and routing (TMS).
Most of Wizrom’s customers that required upgrades wanted to increase automation, in order to enhance data accuracy and, consequently, analyzes and forecasts.
“In production, industry, agriculture, services, in almost every area, software solutions tend to become the element that, together with the manager’s imagination, makes the difference,” said Adrian Bodomoiu, general manager Wizrom Software.
Founded in 1992, Wizrom Software is one of the leading companies in Romania providing end to end business software solutions. It has over 3,800 active clients and more than 34,000 licenses installed.
Wizrom had a turnover of EUR 6.9 million last year, 11% higher than in 2013. The group has 160 employees. Wizrom is part of Israeli IT group One1.
