Low cost airline Wizz Air will operate three weekly flights on the route Sibiu-London Luton Airport starting June 14, 2014, according to a statement of the Sibiu International Airport.

There were only two weekly flights announced initially, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, but the company has added a new flight to be operated on Thursdays.

“Similarly to the previously announced conditions, this flight will also be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 seats, the journey takes 2 hours and 10 minutes, and departs from Sibiu at 22,00 in summer,” reads the statement. Tickets for this flight are already on sale.

Wizz Air is the largest low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe and operates a fleet of 47 Airbus A320 aircrafts from 17 bases, over 300 routes linking over 90 destinations in 35 countries.
