Wizz Air launches four new routes from Romania to Italy, Germany, Mallorca
The low-cost airline company Wizz Air added four new routes from Bucharest Otopeni and Arad to Milan, Verona, Memmingen (Germany) and Palma de Mallorca, according to a statement from the company.
Wizz Air started flight operations from International Airport Arad to Milan, Bergamo June 30.
The balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet was staged at Otopeni Airport for passengers flying to Verona, to promote the new route.
Hungarian budget airline Wizz Air is one of the leading airlines for low cost flights to Central and Eastern Europe. The company was founded in 2003. Wizz Air operates two subsidiaries, Wizz Air Ukraine and Wizz Air Hungary, according to its website.
