Wizz Air to launch Bucharest – Malaga flight in March

Low cost airline Wizz Air will launch a new flight connecting Bucharest to Malaga in Spain, the company has announced. The new route will be operated from March 26 and will initially have one flight a week, on Sundays.

This is the third seasonal destination added by Wizz Air, after Allicante, with flights from Bucharest and Cluj – Napoca, and Palma de Mallorca, operated from Cluj – Napoca.

Wizz Air carried 2.1 million passengers to and from Romania last year, up 33 percent compared to the previous year, according to the company. The low cost airline operates a fleet of 34 airplanes in 12 bases in Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
