World Bank continues to provide technical assistance to Romania
Romania’s Government and the World Bank will sign a Memorandum on Monday that will enable the international financial institution to continue providing technical assistance services to the Romanian public institutions until 2023.
These assistance services will be financed via the European Structural & Investment Funds within the 2014-2020 programming period.
Almost 20 public institutions have benefitted from the World Bank program that tried to lay the foundations of a modern public administration in Romania starting 2010.
The program included sectors such as social inclusion and poverty reduction, agriculture, climate change, competition policy, education, Roma integration, transport, and urban planning.
