World Class, the largest network of fitness clubs in Romania, reached a turnover of EUR 20 million in 2016, up 15% compared to the previous year.

The company also increased the number of members by 70% year-on-year, reaching more than 50,000 at the beginning of 2017.

World Class invested more than EUR 5 million in opening three new clubs and modernizing nine fitness centers in 2016, thus reaching a network of 31 fitness centers. In mid-2016, World Class opened its 31st fitness center in the Bucharest mall ParkLake.

The company has 560 specialized trainers, over 60,000 programs and fitness classes every year, 20 pools, and over 48,000 sqm for a wellness experience.

For this year, World Class estimates an increase of 10% in its turnover. By the end of this year, the company wants to reach 40 sports clubs.
