Xerox to hire 500 Romanians for shared services center in Iasi
Printer producer and document management services provider Xerox will hire 500 Romanians for its new Shared Services Center in Iasi, North – Eastern Romania. The center will reach 100 employees by the end of 2012 and will serve Xerox' European clients. The company will expand its staff base by the end of 2013, when the 500 target should be reached.
Xerox is looking for specialists in different fields, from software support manager, IT project manager, IT developer, financial analyst, human resources and marketing assistant, among others. Candidates should have good knowledge of a foreign language – mainly English -, computer experience and specialize in the respective field for which they are applying.
Xerox is offering document management services, as well as IT operations and business processes externalization for its clients, said Tom Blodgett, Chief Operating Officer with Xerox’ European Services.
Printer producer Xerox sold 72 percent more printers and multifunctional office equipment last year in Romania, focusing more on small and medium enterprises.
Xerox has a turnover of USD 23 billion a year, and 140,000 employees in 160 countries.
