Yearly inflation reaches 4.28% in April
Prices in Romania went up in April at a higher increase rate than in the previous months especially due
to a price hike for non-food products, mainly pharmaceutical products. The inflation rate in April was of 0.35 percent compared to the previous month, while the annual inflation rate grew to 4.28 percent, according to the National Institute of Statistics. The inflation in March was of 0.22 percent compared to February and of 4.2 percent for the year-on-year rate.
