Romanian meteorologists on Monday issued a code yellow rain and storm advisory for 30 counties in central, northern, eastern and western parts of the country, valid from Tuesday at 2 a.m. until Tuesday at 8 p.m.

According to weather authority ANM, precipitation will exceed 20-25 liters per square meter and 40-50 liters per square meter locally. Meteorologists warn that rain might be accompanied by hail storms and gusty wind, especially in mountain areas.
