Half of Romania will be covered in snow starting tonight until Thursday, December 2.  Meteorologists have issued a yellow code for snow in 19 counties. Most of the counties are in Moldova and in Romania's mountain areas, where snow and glazed frost are expected.

The counties for which a yellow code has been issued are Botosani, Iasi, Vaslui, Suceava, Neamt, Bacau, Vrancea, Maramures, Bistrita-Nasaud, Mures, Harghita, Covasna, Brasov, Sibiu, Valcea, Arges, Dambovita, Prahova, Buzau.
