Zara launches online shop in Romania
Fashion retailer Zara, which runs 20 stores in Romania, will launch its online shop in the country on April 2. Customers will be able to place orders on www.zara.com/ro, and choose between paid delivery at home, or delivery pick up at the closest Zara shop.
According to Zara's statement, prices on the online shop will be the same as in Zara's stores in Romania, and clients will be able to return the products within a month from the purchase, without paying extra charges.
The two paid delivery options cost RON 19 for standard delivery, three to five working days, and RON 49 for the express delivery, two to three working days, according to the company's release via the local press agency.
Zara has been present in Romania since 2004, when it opened its first shop in Bucharest. It currently runs 20 stores in 12 cities. The Inditex group, which also runs brands such as Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius and Oysho, has a chain of 90 shops in Romania.
Inditex posted EUR 16.7 billion in sales in 2013, up 5 percent year on year.
