Zara owner brings new fashion brand in Romania
Spanish fashion retailer Inditex, which owns the Zara, Stradivarius, and Bershka brands, introduced a new fashion brand in the local market on the super-premium segment, called Uterqüe.
The first Uterqüe store has opened in the Baneasa Shopping City and includes collections of clothes, bags, jewelry, accessories, and shoes. The brand Uterqüe has over 100 stores worldwide.
The Inditex group has annual sales of about EUR 21 billion. It is owned by the Spanish entrepreneur Amancio Ortega, one of the richest people in the world. The group has some 7,000 stores in 90 countries.
