Zone Arena, which has hosted several concerts this year in Bucharest, will be demolished, as the owners of the land plot didn't have any permits to build the stage and the tribunes on the land plot. The Sector 2 City hall has asked Arena Invest, the company which owns the property, to demolish the existing constructions on the site. The company already started to tear down the existing structures on Thursday afternoon.

The City Hall has received complaints from the inhabitants in the area, on Barbu Vacarescu boulevard, who were disturbed by the noise in the area and by the agglomeration on the street.

Several concerts were organized on Zone Arena, some which which had moved from other initially announced concert places: Ciuc Summer Fest, Massive Attack, Aerosmith, Bob Dylan and more recently, The Cranberries.
