Local insurance company Allianz-Tiriac has become the insurer of the Bucharest National Theatre starting October.

The insured amount exceeds EUR 91 million, corresponding to a premium between EUR 50,000 and EUR 75,000, according to specialists, reports local Profit.ro. The company hasn’t published the value of the insurance premium.

The policy has been issued for 12 months and includes protection for all risks, including earthquake, flood or fire.

In December last year, Allianz-Tiriac has announced that it would protect the assets of the Bucharest National Theatre for RON 23.5 million (EUR 5.2 million).
