American group 3M targets EUR 53 mln turnover in Romania
US technology group 3M plans to reach a turnover of EUR 53 million in Romania this year, a growth mainly supported by the industrial division, according to Catalin Velescu, CEO of 3M Romania.
“Last year we had a turnover of EUR 50 million, this year we expect EUR 53 million. The profit margin is 15%. There is great need in the infrastructure area, but things didn’t go well in this area, there have been delays. We don’t lose hope, the work that was not done this year will be done in 2015. 2014 was a year of preparation,” said Velescu, cited by local Wall-street.ro.
3M has been present on the local market since the early 90s with a sales and marketing company which currently has 100 employees. The business is currently structured in five divisions: consumer, health care, industrial, electronics & energy and safety & graphics.
