American jazz saxophonist Joe Lovano comes to Bucharest for March concert

Winner of a Grammy Award, American jazz saxophonist Joe Lovano will play at Sala Radio in Bucharest on March 25. The concert will start at 20:00.

Joe Lovano was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 29, 1952, and grew up in a house full of music. His father Tony, aka Big T, was a barber by day and a big-toned tenor player by night. Joe started on alto at the age of five, switching to tenor a few years later. By 16, he was a member of the Musician’s Union. Read more about him here.

In the evening of March 25, Joe Lovano (tenor saxophone) will perform alongside Lawrence Fields (piano), Peter Slavov (bass), and Otis Brown (drums).

Tickets for the concert in Bucharest are already on sale, and can be purchased online at Eventim.ro for prices between RON 105 and RON 185.
