Tubular producer ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Iasi will invest USD 11 million in a new cold formed production line with a capacity of 120,000 tones per year, in order to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

The new cold formed line is expected to be commissioned in the second quarter of 2011. ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Iasi intends to sell these products in the domestic market and within the South Eastern European region.

ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Iasi produces longitudinal welded steel tubes in Romania. Its mother company ArcelorMittal runs operations in more than 60 countries.
